Welcome to the City of Dana Point, Building Divisions web site.  The Building Division is responsible for safety  standards for the design, construction, materials, use and occupancy, of all buildings and structures within the City.  We also provide plan checking, permitting and inspection services for new construction, additions and remodels  to assure all structures meet or exceed the minimum life safety standards of the codes adopted by the City of Dana Point.  The division is provided under contract with the engineering and management firm Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. (CAA).
